On the 2nd of December 2018, Green Anglicans from African Martyrs in Phuthaditjhaba, Diocese of the Free State had a hike at one of the national parks in Free State, Golden Gate. The reason behind this hike was to learn more about our likeness with Gods creation and us being part of it to connect with God in a special way by hiking in brandwag and have a bible study when we get up there.
Praising God in his natural place made it even more intimate it helped us see the beauty of the environment we leave in each day, it made us also see the bad impact we leave. This helped us see that as the next or current generation it is upon us to make sure we help conserve our planet besides God gave us that responsibility. The hike opened our eyes to see the beauty of our environment and also ways we can help preserve it. We even did the part of the hike silent so we can be in touch with our surroundings and also God, it was done so we can learn to keep still and let God deal with it all.
