In celebration of Arbour Day, Green Anglicans in the Diocese of Namibia partnered with Climate YES Namibia, Eenhana Town Council and schools around town, together with Ohangwena region governor Hon. Kadiva D Hamutumwa, in a community cleaning campaign and tree-planting initiative aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and creating a cleaner, greener Eenhana.
This meaningful initiative demonstrated the importance of community participation, environmental stewardship, and collective responsibility in protecting God’s creation. As partners in Namibia, we believe that growing trees today is an investment in a greener tomorrow. Through such activities, we continue to inspire young people and communities to take action against climate change and care for our environment.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Eenhana Town Council for organising this important initiative and for allowing us to be part of this positive change.
