On Saturday the 27th of April the Diocese of Mthata Green Anglicans team conducted a one-day workshop at St Barthalomew Parish in the Archdeaconry of Misty Mount. The Green Anglicans Mthatha was represented by Revd. Can. A Mafanya, Mr. B. White, Ms N. T. Ngudle, Mr. M. Mantshongo
During the workshop attendees coved topics such as Green Anglicans background, Climate Change, Waste Management and Food gardening while Zaga ( an ecumenical environmental project ) talked about the benefits of Soya and the production of Soya beans. Attendees got a chance to taste products such as bread, yogurt, coffee, and cookies which the is produced by the Zaga project. As from now there is a partnership between Green Anglicans Mthatha and Zaga project. Parishes, individual households will be workshopped on Soya beans soon.
